In the hectic and increasingly busy world we all now live with carp lakes everywhere Fensmere aims to take you on a journey back in time. A time when carp did not just crawl up the rods having to continually compete due to overstocking and where skilled angling and correct bait placement will lead to a fish of a lifetime gracing the net. A place where an angler can be truly rewarded for good angling.

From the very start in 2019, the aim was always to create a low stocked venue with incredible fish. Each fish was selected for its unique characteristics and growth potential. Alongside the classic French fish 15 hand graded true Leney strain carp were brought over from the UK, these fish are descendants from Redmire Pool where their brood stock came from, and the blood line has never been diluted.
